We are a specialist.
Not a national broker.
Maple Security Services exists because the map of Canadian private security has a shape — and that shape is bunched around the 401 corridor. The Atlantic and the North get subcontracted to whichever local partner will accept the margin. We were founded to be the answer, not the subcontractor.
The first mile matters more than the last.
National security-services procurement is optimized for the boardroom presentation, not for the officer arriving at 03:00. Our founding premise is that everything downstream of the officer on post is administration; everything upstream is where the actual product is manufactured.
So we invest upstream: local recruitment pipelines in every community we serve, cold-weather doctrine reviewed each fall, redundant communications on every patrol vehicle, and supervisors who live within 90 minutes of the sites they oversee.
Licensed. Bonded. Local.
Every officer holds the security-worker credential issued by the province or territory they work in. Every deployment carries $5 million in general liability with named-additional insured language available on request. Every DAR is filed digitally, timestamped, and archived for the length of your contract plus the statutory retention period.
Regulated. Insured. Local.
Every officer, every vehicle, every contract is bonded and documented to the standard your board, insurer, and Authority Having Jurisdiction expects.
Calm authority. Procedural. First.
Our recruitment is deliberately biased toward temperament: applicants who de-escalate before they escalate, who follow procedure before improvisation, who write clear reports and stand quiet posts. This is not glamorous. It is what actually works at 04:00 in Yellowknife in February.
Every Maple officer completes First Aid & CPR-C, WHMIS, non-violent crisis intervention, and our internal Northern Operations module. Officers on Nunavut, NT, or Labrador rotations complete additional cultural-liaison and bear-country training.
